Another man who could not resist the temptation to touch a woman's thigh was in court today to answer to charges. 26-year-old Salvadoran national Isaias Sanchez was in court on charges of indecent assault. At around 5 p.m. on November 27th of this year Sanchez was in a bus traveling on the Western Highway heading to Hattieville. He was seated beside a 20-year-old woman who was wearing a skirt. She complained to police that upon reaching an area near mile two on the highway he lifted her skirt and touched her thigh For that he appeared in court today where he pleaded guilty to the charge.
After his plea Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord told Sanchez that because he admitted to the crime he would fine him $1,500 as opposed to sending him to jail for 3 years. Sanchez was to pay forthwith but was unable and is to now serve a 15 month stint in prison. Lord ordered that after he serves his time he is to be deported to his home country.
