On November 28th of last year 4 armed and masked men robbed the Texaco Gas Station located at mile 16 on the Northern Highway. Proving that the case was old and not cold, today more than two months later police brought two men 29 year old Gareth Jenkins and 22 year old Clifford Wade before the Magistrate's Court to answer to charges. The men were read 2 charges of aggravated burglary. They pleaded not guilty and were remanded to prison until March 23rd of this year.
On November 28th of last year gas station attendant German Flores told police that 4 men came out of the nearby bushes sometime around 8:30pm. They held him up at gunpoint forcing him to open the gas station allowing them to steal $8,000 in cash as well as telephone cards and liquor.
