A man was shot in the head last night and survived but he didn't stay around long enough to tell his tale to police.
Police say that around 8:30 last night they visited the KHMHY where they found 23 year old Anthony Crawford suffering from a wound to the left side of his face and another behind his head.
Around 8:00, Crawford was attacked in front of a Chinese shop at the corner of Central American Boulevard. Eyewitnesses told police that one man pulled out his gun and pistol whipped Crawford and then shot him once in the back of his head. The bullet apparently entered the back of his head and exited the left side of his face. From the sound of it, a serious injury but not serious enough to detain this street soldier. This morning when police returned to the KHMH to follow up on the investigation, Crawford had checked himself out.
