Kirk Anderson was fighting his case in Jamaica, but tonight, Dwayne Sewell (Seawell) is in U.S. custody in Miami.

7NEWS has received reports that Anderson failed in his application to the Jamaican courts, but before he could file an appeal, the Americans snatched up Sewell, put him on a waiting plane and sent him off to Miami, end of story.

Belize's Ministry of Foreign Affairs had previously asked the Americans to grant him safe passage from Miami back to Belize to face extradition proceedings, but they refused.

Then Sewell retained Anderson in Jamaica to fight the expulsion order that had been issued to him in that country. But it seems that when Anderson lost the first round, the Americans, seized the opportunity and grabbed him.

Now extradition hearing in Belize for his brothers Mark is pending.

The Sewells are wanted on a U.S. warrant for drug trafficking and money laundering.
