The Supreme Court turned her down, but the Court of Appeals will hear Narda Garcia's case against the Senate Special Select Committee and its report.

The court has given Garcia leave to appeal the October decision of the Chief Justice. At that time, the Chief Justice ruled that because parliament has special privileges, the high court cannot easily interfere with its workings. In view of that and the fact that Narda Garcia was not the subject of the inquiry, Conteh said he was unable to grant permission for judicial review of the Senate report.

But now, the Court of Appeals has set aside three days in June to hear the case challenging the Senate report.
