Savage Weekend Murder in Banana Belt

There was a savage murder in the banana belt this weekend and three men have been charged for murder.

Around 10am on Saturday morning, police found the body of 31-year-old Tito Caballero in an area near the Mayan King Banana Farm close to the Placencia junction on the Southern Highway.

Caballero had been drinking through Friday night with a group of men when around 5am of Saturday, the group turned on Caballero and chopped him to his head, right shoulder and hands.

5 men were detained and three men: 51-year-old Rony Adonaldo Rosa, 19-year-old Jose Cecilio Cruz and Emir Kidel Recinos all Honduran nationals have been charged for murder.
