And we've already told you about four murders that occurred this weekend, here's the fifth and final one. A 28-year-old man was stabbed to death in Guinea Grass Village. At around 5 on Saturday evening police were called out to the Northern Regional Hospital where they found 28 year old Roberto Diego Patt in a lifeless state.
Investigations by police reveal that Patt and another man had alighted a bus at the village and were headed into the Guinea Grass when the men became involved in an altercation. During that the other man identified as 19 year old John Sebastian Perez pulled out a home made weapon much like an ice pick and stabbed Patt once to the chest.
Police have since charged Perez with murder. Patt is the son of police Sergeant Francisco Patt attached to the CIB Office in Belize City.
So that makes two police officers who lost loved ones to the weekend's killing spree; as you saw in her family picture, Keeva Leslie was also the common law wife of a policeman.
