This morning 6,286 standard six students took part one of the most important tests of their entire primary school career. It's the primary school examination - the PSE - and today the English and Science portions were administered at 27 testing centers scattered across the country. We won't know how they did on the test until June when results are released but we did our own exit polls for a feel of how it went.
Student #1: It was very easy. Some of those our teacher had already given us on a test and I passed my test and so I think I passed.
Student #2: It was kind of easy. It was challenging...all sort of things.
KS: What was the easiest part for you?
Student #2: The science.
KS: Hardest?
Student #2: The letter writing.
Student #3: The science was the easiest part...the only thing I can is it is because I studied.
Student #4: It was a little bit challenging but it was good.
KS: What was challenging?
Student #4: They had some topics that I didn't really understand about it.
Student #5: It was kind of easy. I won't say too easy and too hard but in between.
KS: Explain what was hard and what was easy?
Student #5: The English was easy than the science.
That second portion of the test will be in math and social studies and it will be administered on Monday May 7th. Results should be released in June.
