He Robbed A Cop With A Knife

He robbed a policeman of his wrist watch and knifepoint and now 31-year-old Howard Nicholson Jr. is facing a charge of robbery.

The constable is Keon Cunningham. He told police that at 4:50 this morning he was off duty walking on Cemetery Road near the Roger's Stadium when Nicholson snuck up behind him and placed a knife to his side.

Cunningham claims that Nicholson snatched his watch valued at $30 and ran. He didn't get far though, because PC Cunningham flagged down a police mobile unit which was in the area. They tracked down Nicholson and picked him up.

He was charged with robbery and was arraigned this afternoon in Magistrate's Court number two. He pleaded not guilty and was granted bail of $3,500. He is due back in court on May 3rd.
