Escape artist Dennis Quilter has done it again. This morning Quilter escaped while on his way to the Magistrate's Court.
Quilter, who is currently serving a 9 and a half-year prison sentence for burglary and escape, was in the police bus being transported along with other prisoners from the Queen's Street Police Station to the Magistrate's Court house.
Quilter somehow managed to slip the handcuffs off his hand and when the bus parked in front of the Magistrate's Court, Quilter had his hands free and made a leap for freedom through the door. He is being sought tonight.
Quilter last escaped on November 26th of 2006 when he along with Ernest Hinds and Casey Allen jumped from the prison bus while it slowed down for a speed bump on Vernon Street. He was later recaptured.
