Bus Mows over 12 year old Cyclist

A 12-year-old boy was run over by a bus on the Northern Highway on Saturday evening. 57-year-old Hildo Moh was behind the wheels of the National Transport Bus which was heading from the Santa Elena border to Corozal Town. Moh says that between miles 85 and 86, near the junction with Paraiso Village, when a male person appeared on bicycle collided with the front of the bus. The male person was 12-year-old Benigno Lizama. An unconscious Lizama was rushed to the KHMH where he remains tonight. Moh has been served with a notice of intended prosecution.
