He was released from prison on parole two weeks ago but tonight 19-year-old Kareem "Stamma" Smith is back in jail. Smith is accused of robbing two women in the King Park's area on Monday night. Glenda Soberanis and Alma Rivera told police they were walking on 6th street when Smith approached them on a bicycle. They allege he pulled out a shiny object and ordered them to hand over everything they had. They did and handed Smith $162 in cash, a Seimens brand cell phone, and 3 gold rings. Smith then fled but he didn't get far. The women reported the robbery to police and a quick search of the area led to smith and the stolen items. Smith was arraigned on two counts of robbery in Magistrate's Court. Bail was denied and he was remanded to prison until September 28th.
