Diarrhea Alert in Corozal District

And there are other concerns in the north. The Ministry of Health has expressed its concern over the increased reports of diarrhea and dehydration in the hurricane ravaged Corozal District. A release from the Ministry says there has been an increased demand for pedialyte, one brand of oral re-hydration fluid. But the Ministry says it doesn't have to be pedialyte.

The Ministry says it has a full supply of oral rehydration salts which do the same job like pedialyte. The reyhydration salts are available at health clinics. Anyone experiencing diarrhea or dehydration is advised to visit a health center immediately.
