Cassian Bennett Charged for Cluck Cluck's Murder

The CIB office today brought charges in a number of high profile violent crimes that occurred in Belize City in August and September. First, Cassian Bennett was charged for the murder of Curlin "Cluck Cluck" Felix.

On the afternoon of Sunday September 23rd, 30-year-old Felix was sitting under a bus stop at the corner of Jane Usher and Central American Boulevards when a lone gunman rode up and opened fire. Felix fell in the drain and the gunman followed him, firing a total of 13 shots from a nine-millimeter pistol. Police say Cassian Bennett was the man holding the gun and he has been charged and remanded for murder.
