On Friday night someone tried to kill Sigmund "Sarge" Trapp's son. 26 shots were fired but only one person was injured. Trapp who is normally outspoken, spoke to us off-camera today. He says that just before 9pm his son along with a friend were standing in their yard on Rivero Street when Julian Willoughby and another youth passed on bikes. Shortly after, he heard his son shout.
Sigmund "Sarge" Trapp Sr., Father
"I heard my son holler like lookout and I heard him and me and my wife stopped eating immediately and in the silence we heard the first two shots and we hit the floor. After that it was a wail of bullets...like enough bullets which could kill at least 25 to 30 men because the way how the bullets were coming, it was like they meant to kill everybody. After that interval of about 5 minutes when the bullets stopped ringing out - I hurriedly came out to see if anyone was dead."
No one was killed but Deon Williams - also known was Bracka - was shot. Sigmund Trapp senior says Williams was hit in the left hip. That bullet has now traveled to his groin area and is affecting his bladder. Sigmund Trapp Sr. says the injury is serious.

"But when I get halfway on the step I heard my son holler after me that Bracka got shot in his foot so I told my wife to throw the key because when I came downstairs I could see that he was on his belly - on the ground and a lot of blood was coming from his body. This man got hurt seriously. After the bullet caught him, we learnt that the bullet went into his leg and after that penetrated up to his groin area and went into his bladder. So the doctor sad the man had to go undergo surgery. He underwent surgery and he is doing good so far.
The situation is that we wish those young boys would slow down off of those

silly timing because innocent people could get hurt, even me because a bullet went over my head - into my bedroom and into the part off and exited through the roof of the house. For me it left me tense up and thing because it was surprising for me to know that they would come lick at my house like that. I heard gunshots and things around my neighborhood but it has never come so close like this one."
Deon Williams underwent surgery this morning. And while he was in the operating theatre, 17-year-old Julian Willoughby appeared before Chief Magistrate Margaret McKenzie where he was charged for the attempted murder of Sigmund Trapp Jr. Charges are pending for the shooting of Deon Williams.
Friday night's shooting at Trapp's house was the second in three days. On Wednesday, Sigmund Trapp senior's wife told police she was talking to her stepson when two young men, who she recognized, passed on bikes. She claims they both pointed guns in her direction, fired three shots and then rode off. No one was hit.
