Bounty Killer performed on the City Center stage on Saturday night but he didn't stay there long. We'll tell you why shortly but before he even hit the stage, Bounty Killer's road manager 26-year-old Horane Damien Young was arrested for weed possession.

Police say that at about 1:15 am, they saw Young acting suspiciously as he was entering the City Center. They searched him and found a leafy vegetable substance in his right back pocket. It smelt like marijuana and weighed in at about 4.8 grams - about the size of a stick of weed. After much protestation about what he declared was his supposed VIP status, he was taken to the Queen Street Police Station where he spent the night.

But Bounty was still at the hotel when his manager was arrested. In fact, he didn't make it onto the stage of the City Center until 2:41 am. That left only 19 minutes to perform because the promoter's permit expired at 3 am. And like clockwork, at 3 am on the dot, police shut down the show. That made for an angry crowd, and police anticipated it, as they activated the riot squad and had them on the ready. But other than angry verbal protest, there wasn't much trouble and the crowd went home disappointed.

Bounty left on Sunday. But his road manager Horane Young had to stay behind to answer charges. He pleaded guilty to drug possession today and was fined $500. He paid it along with $5 in court fees and was released.
