She is 84 years old – probably old enough to be your grand mother but Florine Fuller says that didn’t stop police from storming into her home and assaulting her. That’s right – the grandmother told us that just before midday armed officers barged into her home at the corner of West and Prince Streets. A stunned Fuller told us this afternoon what happened.
Florine Fuller, Alleges She was Assaulted
“He came up and I was on the verandah standing. He rushed in and I said this is my house and you can’t come in. He said he was looking for gun and ammunition. I said we don’t have any gun or ammunition here. And so he shoved me and went into the room.”

Did they find anything?
Florine Fuller,
“They didn’t find anything here because nothing is here.”
Keith Swift,
So you’re saying this officer actually shoved you?
Florine Fuller,
“Yes. I asked him what was he shoving me for. I don’t told them I don’t have any gun or ammunition in my house because I am an old old woman.”
Again Fuller says police found nothing.
