Tonight another family needs your help in finding their missing daughter. First form student at ACC Joanne Linarez has not been seen since Friday, April fourth. According to the 14 year old’s mother Geraldine Usher she believes that her daughter may be influenced by friends or is possibly being held against her will. But as each day goes by without a word of where she might be, this mother becomes more concerned about her teenager’s safety.

The family has posted flyers with the hope that Joanne Linarez will be found. Today Geraldine Usher visited our studios to appeal to her daughter to come home.

Geraldine Usher, Mother of Missing
“I am worrying where she is and I want to know if she is okay, I want to know if she is in the city because she has been gone since Saturday and from Saturday we haven’t seen her.”

Jacqueline Godwin,
Has she done this before?

Geraldine Usher,
“No this is the first time she has ever ever done this. I guess she followed friends because she had a detention which she had to go and serve and on the way a little boy came and told me he had just seen Joanne out there so I told them to go and see. But by the time they went out there, they didn’t see her again.

I have looked for her every where because that is my only daughter. That is my only daughter, I am begging her to please come home.”

If you have any information that can help the family or police find Joanne Linarez call the nearest police tation or cell phone number 625 – 0912.
