We don’t know just how many bottles of sprite Belize City resident Martha Perdomo had to drink, but she certainly purchased enough to earn her a trip all the way to the NBA Finals. Every day for the past month Sprite consumers countrywide have been collecting caps with letters to form the phrase “Go NBA.” For the lucky winner, the prize was the tickets to this weekend’s NBA game between Cleveland Cavaliers and Miami Heat that had basketball fans in a frenzy.
But there could be only one grand prize winner and this afternoon, Martha Perdomo proudly received her package which included not only a chance to see Lebron James in action but it is an all expense paid trip for two to Cleveland Ohio. Perdomo who admits she is not familiar with the basketball star nor the game itself says she is happy and knows that she her husband Rommel will have a great time on April thirteenth.

“I was very very excited when I found out that I had won. At first I could not believe it but they kept showing me the cap and said yes I had gotten the letter b. I am not a fanatic but I do watch basketball games with my husband and my son. I do not know Lebron James.”
Martha Perdomo leaves Belize on Friday. The grand prize is worth over six thousand dollars.
