And in another matter heard at the Supreme Court this morning, BTL is also challenging Lois Young Barrow’s representation of Christine Perriot in the ongoing proceedings relating to her February 2007 dismissal from the company. Justice John Muria heard arguments from Naima Barrow and Andrew Marshalleck for BTL and Fred Lumor for Lois Young Barrow. BTL is arguing that because of a conflict of interest, Young-Barrow should not be permitted to represent Perriot. Lumor argued that the issue which triggered the supposed conflict has been abandoned. Murian will announce his decision in a week’s time.
