Jessie James Garbutt Charged for Centaur Cable Robbery

25 year old Jessie James Garbutt was arraigned in court this afternoon for Tuesday’s armed robbery at the Ladyville office of Centaur Cable Company. Police say Jessie James stormed into Centaur’s office and pointed a gun in the face of two employees – the 19 year old secretary Charlene Gibson and the office manager Richard Vellos. They say Jessie James told them to face the wall - after which he helped himself to $1,366 from the cash draw. And before leaving, he fired off a shot – hitting Gibson in her upper left leg.

Today in court he was charged with one count of robbery, two counts of aggravated assault upon both Gibson and Vellos and one count of dangerous harm upon Charlene Gibson. Bail was denied.
