On Monday, Police Commander of Operations Crispin Jeffries noted an upsurge in home invasions. True to form, tonight we have the report of another report, this one from Frank’s Eddy Village. Around two on Monday morning Guatemalan housewife Adelita Lopez was sleeping when she was awakened by a noise. Lopez started checking around her home and that is when she came across two men wearing headlamps on their heads. The men also appeared to be armed with what is believe to be a sawed off shot gun and a nine millimeter pistol
Lopez recognized one of the burglars as thirty seven year old Guatemalan Rony Cassasola, a labourer of that same village. According to police the men did not use their weapons but one of them attempted to rip off Lopez’s underwear. Bizarre enough when that proved problematic, both intruders then began walking around the house, searching and asking for money. No cash was taken but the robbers did steal over one thousand two hundred dollars in items which includes a stereo system, and five bicycles. The men then left the Lopez residence but not before firing three gunshots. Police have apprehended Rony Cassasola, and tonight he remains detained.
