And while Supa G is out today, Reckless released his new album yesterday. Reckless was first a part of the Punta Rebels collective and then it was Lloyd and Reckless. Well now it is just Reckless. This week the punta rocker released his second solo album this week. It’s called “nuh watch face” and he dropped by our studios and told us about it.
Reckless, Punta Rock Artist
“One of the song we really want to touch is, ‘Don’t Discriminate,’ talking about HIV and Aids and people living with the virus and then actually we have this little girl Arrelyn Flores. This song features Arrelyn and actually it is a little girl so it more suits the song itself and then eventually we would want to cut a video for it and have another musicians involved.
The last album I did almost took years before I do another one so that shows you how good the album was and this one just started and the fire this di blaze up, especially with the, ‘deh pan yuh own,’ featuring Ti Bum, we know that Ti Bum actually is a dancer but now we have her singing and that is one of the things I am trying to promote, to get other female artists involved in what we are doing because eventually Reckless, Suga G, and all of us will step back and we need to make way for others.”
The CD is available widely.
