Today 43 year old Jewel Emmanuel Waight, who lists his profession as a computer technician, was charged for burglary. Putt Putt’s owner Orson Elrington says it was Waight and another man who burglarized the bar. He says he happened to be driving past Putt Putt around 1:50 yesterday when he saw Waight leaving the premises and asked him who gave him permission to take items from the bar. Waight pointed him to the driver and he pointed back to Waight. Elrington says that when he went to check and see what was in the pan of the pickup -the driver sped off.
He is at large tonight but Waight was charged for burglary for one wooden stage valued at $500. Elrington says a refridge, a microwave and an electric cooker were also stolen. This is the third time Putt Putt has been burglarized since it closed in February.
