Last night, we told you about 22 year old Eder Medina, the young man accused of discharging a firearm in public. It happened near his home in an upscale neighborhood near Brodies on the Northern Highway. He did appear in court yesterday, where he pleaded guilty to discharging the firearm.

The offense carries no jail term but a maximum fine of three hundred dollars. His attorney Michel Chebat begged the court for leniency on behalf of his client stating that it was his first offense and that he has no previous convictions. Magistrate Frazer agreed and ordered that Eder medina pay a fine of one hundred dollars.
