On May twelfth 24 year old Jason Whylie was slapped with 7 charges for going on a wild and violent spree in the home of Primitivo Smith in a desperate search for his girlfriend. Today he had his day in court and the case fell apart after two witnesses said they wanted no further court action and the other two didn’t show up to testify.
He had been charged for aggravated assault upon Frank Logan after he allegedly put a knife to his throat, demanding to know where his girlfriend was. He allegedly then burglarized Primitivo Smith’s home. He was charged with two counts of damage to property for breaking the window on his Darwin Alvarez’s van. He also allegedly damaged a pot from Smith’s house and was charged with wounding for hitting Smith in the head with the pot and for breaking a chair on his back. He was also charged with harm upon Marilyn Smith and Dorla Reneau.
Today both women told the court they wanted no further action and as we said, the men didn’t show up to court and Whylie was cleared of all charges.
