A beaten and bruised 46 year old Sydney Collins was finally well enough to be taken to court today to be charged for the burglary of a Chinese restaurant. Hong Wei Lui told police that early in the morning of November 11th he heard a noise inside his restaurant – MK’s Fast FFood on Cemetery Road. He got up to check and that’s when a nieghbour told him a burglar was inside. Hong Wei Lui checked and saw a man walking towards him. Lui wasted no time and picked up a fan which he attacked the intruder with.

That intruder was later identified as Sydney Collins who was in a way saved from a beating by the police. He was taken to the KHMH and today to court and charged for stealing $30. He pled not guilty and was offered bail of 4 thousand dollars. He was unable to meet it and was remanded to jail.
