Well known radio and television talk show host Virginia Echols needs your help tonight after she was robbed on Tuesday afternoon. Around two on Tuesday afternoon as she walked along Cleghorn Street making her way towards Douglas Jones Street she was held up by a man riding a bicycle.
Reports are that the thief described only as a man wearing a high afro hair style and blue shirt came up from behind Echols and grabbed a fourteen karat Cuban link gold chain from around her neck and then rode off. B Today Echols told 7NEWS that she does not care if the chain is not returned but because the gold cross medal has great sentimental value, she hopes to get it back. Echols had been wearing the medal for the past twenty four years.
If you can assist the police in solving this case and helping Virginia Echols recover her gold cross medal please call the nearest police station.
