Straight Up Theft from Madisco

And another firm is reporting a major case of missing money. More than $14,000 was stolen from Madisco in Belmopan. But it wasn’t embezzlement – this was straight up theft.

The store’s supervisor Linda Escalante told police that between Wednesday night and Thursday morning – someone broke into their office and stole two First Caribbean International Bank plastic deposit bags. One of the bags contained $13,648.25 cents and the other had $742.86.
