Another accused killer walked free today. Honduran national Jose Cecilio Yaniz Cruz was charged for the murder of a co-worker on a banana farm in the Stann Creek District but this morning when he appeared in court, the DPP’s office entered a nolle pros because of a lack of evidence. Cruz was charged for the murder along with his cousin – Emir Kidel Recimos will still stand trial for the murder in the next session of the Supreme Court which starts on April 7th.
