He is currently serving a 5 year prison sentence for robbery – but 22 year old Shane Jones could be there for five more years. That is because today he was arraigned for another robbery charge. This one allegedly occurred on November 9th of last year.
Alexander Montejo told police he had just walked his girlfriend home and parked his beach cruiser outside her home when he heard a noise. He went outside to check and that’s when he came face to face with the barrel of Jones’ gun. Montejo alleged that Jones told him “I will work with your bike” and rode off. He was arrested the day following the robbery but that was for another offense. He finally arraigned today for the Montejo armed robbery. And as we reported – the 22 year old is already facing a year sentence for a separate robbery conviction.
