Multiple arrests have been made in connection with the robbery of Hugo Castillo. 39 year old Castillo reported that On Friday night at about 11:00 p.m while he and his girlfriend were sitting on the sea-wall of Marine Parade, they were robbed by two men on bicycles. In fear of the men who were armed, Castillo and his girlfriend handed over a cell phone, a credit card, a wallet containing $800, and other personal documents. Police recovered the items and five persons, three of them brothers, were charged.
They are from left to right, 19 year old Matthew Moore, 21 year old Horton Jackson, 22 year old Ervin Wade, and his brothers, 19 year old Jerome Wade, and a 17 year old minor. Moore and the minor were charged with robbery while the other three were charged with abatement to commit robbery. All five were charged with handling stolen goods. They were all remanded without bail.
