Who would deliberately throw a cocktail bomb inside an SUV and then set the vehicle on fire?
Disturbing questions that the Belize City Crimes Investigation Branch told 7news they have no answers tonight.
But someone did throw the home made device inside the 2005 Nissan Armada four door around three twenty this morning on Caesar Ridge road.
The police did not identify the car owner but only report that she is a thirty five year old woman told them who was awakened by a loud bang in her yard.
That is when she discovered that her car was on fire. According to police with the help of family members the blaze was extinguished and that is when they discovered the cocktail bomb that was made out of a bottle containing a explosive fluid.
The vehicle is valued at thirty four thousand dollars.
Like we said CIB told 7news they have neither suspects nor motive in this case.
