A 22 year old will spend time in jail for a burglary of $900. Shawn Lanza, a resident of Lord’s Bank, pleaded guilty to breaking into the home of 51 year old Mildred Crawford in his home village. He removed four glass louvers from her window and took the kitchen sink, pipe fittings and some tools. When Lanza was caught, he cooperated with Police taking them to all the people he had sold the hot items to. Police recovered all the items and those same items were cited as evidence against him in court today.
Lanza made the guilty plea and though it’s his first offence Senior Magistrate Dorothy Flowers sentenced him to five years in jail.
