And while the British born, Barbados-based Allison Hinds will rule the roost at the City Center on Wednesday night, last Friday Belizean artists did their thing at the 2009 Soundfest. Proving that they exceed the confines of that dirty little label “local artists” – these home-boys and girls threw it down with style, energy and flair. And no one had a more distinctive style than keyboard virtuoso Jorge Ernesto Babb.

And while the Soundfest had popular music, the Bliss Center had classical music. The event was the annual Francis Reneau concert. We leave you this evening with a brief clipping of his virtuoso performance. That’s it for 7News tonight.
