High School Student Sent to Jail

And while that teacher got justice, a third former is going to serve time in jail. 18 year old Anthony Dennison who told the court he is a third year student at Gwen Lizarraga High School became an inmate of prison today.

Dennison was charged with aggravated assault with a firearm. He is accused of pointing the firearm at his brother in law Michael Vernon yesterday afternoon. Dennison denied the allegation, and said it was Vernon who pulled the gun on him. He added that it was his cousin who later pointed a gun at Vernon. But because he is accused of a firearm offence, he was remanded to custody.

Dennison has previous conviction in the family court for aggravated assault with a knife and for handling stolen goods.
