28 year old British National Stuart Hall and his 21 year old common law wife Guatemalan Sheila Velez – who is 8 months pregnant – were both charged with the possession of 18.5 grams of marijuana today. They pleaded guilty and were each fined $80 to be paid forthwith.
But that wasn’t the end of their legal woes. The couple was then taken to another court to face charges of failure to comply with the conditions of their visitors’ permit and failure to produce a visitor’s permit. They were fined one thousand each for those offences again to be paid forthwith. Hall who said he is a freelance writer asked not to be sent to prison and begged to be given until at least tomorrow to pay. With that he and his wife were allowed to remain in custody overnight at the police station. Their visitor’s permit had expired on October tenth.
They were busted this morning at Sea Breeze Guest House on Gabourel Lance – when police searched their car.
