Police Shoot Dangriga Resident

A Dangriga man was shot in the back by police last week and it went un-reported. On Friday evening, Police finally released details of a police shooting that happened on Wednesday March 17th. At 5:45am, Dangriga Police were searching Emerson Ciego in the Unity Zone Area of that southern town. Police found a small bag of weed in his front pocket and say he escaped as they were arresting him. A Corporal who was searching an adjacent house heard the commotion and confronted Ciego.
