One week ago 17 year old Anthony Lord - a Hattieville resident was killed with a chop wound to the head. It happened at the foot of the northern side of the swing bridge and the culprit was an unknown taxi man. Well, apparently investigators have found out who the taxi man is but he can't be found and may have fled to his home country in Honduras. Information to 7news is that late last week Thursday night Lord was in a group of young men who tried to flag down a taxi. As often happens, the taxi passed them by. One of them reportedly stoned the taxi, and smashed his rear window. That's what caused the driver to circle around and waylay the young men. That's when he allegedly pounced on Lord - who reportedly told his friends he didn't do anything so he had no reason to run. The cab driver then drove back to a nearby taxi area covered in blood and asked for a ride home. Since then police have found out his identity but were unable to locate him. His wife was briefly detained.
