The manager of Esso Ramons Gas Station - which is located at Mile 2 on the Northern Highway said he was abducted, robbed and then taken up the Northern Highway. The incident happened shortly after twelve on Friday Night.

According to Ricardo Gongora, after closing the Gas Station - he made his way home. Upon exiting his Dodge Van, he was approached by two male persons of dark complexion - who were both armed with firearms and had masks over their faces. The men then demanded money and ordered Gongora back into his van - where he was held hostage.

The assailants drove with him back to the Gas Station where they met the unarmed security guard - Lionel Cocom - who was also held hostage. Gongora was ordered to open the door and was forced into the office. Fearing for his life, he handed over an undisclosed amount of cash. The assailant then took the both men into the van and drove off with them to the Haulover Bridge where they were released.

They then fled with Gongora's Dodge Van. According to Gongora, his Van was found abandoned the following morning. So far police are investigating and are viewing the surveillance cameras that are posted inside the service station.
