Charged For Chukwu’s Murder

Two adults and a seventeen year old boy were charged with the murder of thirty seven year old Nigerian taxi driver, Francis Chukwu, when they appeared today in the #2 Magistrate's Court.

The adults are Jermaine Zuniga, 31, a.k.a "Bow foot" and nineteen year old Egbert Daly, a.k.a "Eggie" Chukwu, who resided on Neal Pen Road, was found dead in his car on Pitter Street around 2:50a.m on Sunday, December 26. He was shot in the right side of his head by one of three persons who hired his taxi early that Sunday morning.

All three defendants alleged that they were beaten by police. The seventeen year old said he was forced by the police to give them a confession statement.
