Two nights ago we told you about Twenty three year old customs security officer Rondale Bailey, who allegedly broke into the exhibit room at the custom and excise building on Caesar Ridge Road and helped himself to some top shelf liquor and designer perfumes. Well tonight, he is in jail….

That happened after, he appeared today in the Magistrate's Court where he was charged with burglary and handling stolen goods. Bailey pleaded not guilty to burglary but guilty to handling stolen goods. He was not sentenced because the court wants to deal with both charges at the same time.

Also, the prosecution objected to bail on the ground that burglary has become prevalent. Magistrate Aretha Ford upheld the objection and remanded Bailey into custody until June 1.

The items stolen amounted to eight thousand, three hundred and twenty six dollars in value. The police reported that on April 5 they searched a house on raccoon Street Extension and recovered some of the stolen items.
