And that wasn't the weekend's only drowning; the other one happened in Spanish Lookout. It involved a 14 year old boy of Duck Run One village. He is Henry Sanchez - a Standard 6 student. The boy and his family were out swimming in an area referred to by many as Tambran river- in Spanish lookout - when tragedy struck. 7news caught up with his father today - who told us what happened.
Roberto Sanchez, Father

"He was playing in the river with another friend and he was going deeper into the river and when he realize he was in the deep he couldn't do anything and he started screaming for help but I was far away from him. All of us saw the tragedy and some men help to take him out of the river but we couldn't rescue him. He was a kind and obedient child. He was going to graduate from standard six this year. Everything he ask me for I gave him and recently he started to behave better."
According to his family, he was not a swimmer.
