Jerome Jason Wade’s Family Says He Wasn’t In A Gang

Jerome Jason Wade was executed on Vernon Street yesterday afternoon when he was shot eight times. According to police, the 21 year old was standing with his two brothers on Vernon Street when a young man on bicycle rode up form Partridge Street and opened fire.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at the KHMH. Today his mother and common law wife refused comment but his mother bristled at suggestions that he was in a gang; she says he was innocently shot.

Wade was the father of a two year old daughter.
