Last night we showed you the ruckus on Faber's Road when police went to search a pair of homes. It was rough going with one female struck by police and even our camera was shut down at one point.

Well, today police went ahead with charges for the two persons linked to a single round of.32 ammunition.

37 year old Mark Lewis and 31 year old Fiona Mitchell were charged with kept ammunition without a gun license when they appeared today in the Magistrate's Court. They were also charged with aggravated assault, obstruction and harm. They pleaded not guilty to the charges.

There's no bail for possession of even a single round of ammunition - and they were remanded until September 19.

Police report that a further search led to the discovery of one thousand six hundred and ninety eight dollars which was assessed by the Income Tax Department and a total of eight hundred and forty nine dollars was withheld.

And as for the action and counter-action with police, LEWIS was additionally charged for obstruction and MITCHELL was charged for Aggravated assault and harm on police constable Sharifa Young.

Commander of the GSU Marco Vidal today defended the actions of his officers saying that when they kicked in the door Lewis was awake and simply refused to open the door after being warned that they had a search warrant.

On the issue of our camera being shut down, Vidal claims that our reporter, Monica Bodden attempted to interview the detainees and the officer told her that she cannot do so. This - we can confirm is incorrect - when they attempted to shut down our camera, Monica Bodden was in the vehicle; she wasn't trying to interview anyone.
