Last night we showed you the GSU and other police operatives in a rough exchange with some residents of Faber's road. We'll have an update on that shortly, but first to a major weapons bust by the unit.
In a pre-dawn raid this morning, the GSU searched a the residence of 38 year old Kent Rose on T Street in the Port Loyola area.
In the attic they found one 9 millimeter Ruger brand pistol and one 357 Smith & Wesson brand revolver with three live rounds.
Kent ROSE along with 18 year old Emily GARCIA, and 20 year old Stacey HUMES were present at the time and all three were charged for one count each of Kept Prohibited firearm and Kept Prohibited ammunition and one count of Kept firearm without a gun license.
Today in court they pleaded not guilty to the charges but it's an automatic remand for the offences and they have been remanded until August 25th.
