The alleged killers of 9 year old Joshua Abraham were taken to court today.
They are 25 year old Randy Green and 22 year old Michael Young, and they were charged with the murder of 9 year old Joshua Abraham when they appeared today in the Magistrate's Court.
Magistrate Dorothy Flowers remanded them into custody until November 10th. Green and Young said that they were beaten by the police on Friday, September 23 when they were taken into custody. They said they requested that they be taken to the hospital for treatment but their request was denied. As a result, Magistrate Flowers ordered that they be taken to the hospital for treatment.
The incident occurred between 12 and 1 p.m. on Independence Day, September 21. Reports are that Abraham was on Victoria Street when several shots were fired and one of them struck him in his rib cage.
