A four year old student of Succotz primary school was knocked down on Friday. He is tonight admitted at the KHMH is a stable condition. One of his feet is broken and he may need to undergo a surgery to repair his shattered leg.

The incident happened on Friday just before the school bell rang. 4 year old Ethan Lopez was playing along with other students on the monkey bars in the school's compound - which is near to the roadside. The little boy allegedly made his way to the side of the road and that was when he was knocked down by a blue Isuzu Trooper driven at the time by a 17 year old minor. According to many villagers, the minor does not have a driver's license and was way out of his lane.

"My mother-in-law was standing by the door when she saw the Trooper coming very fast and it turn this direction, she heard the brakes and the knock - when he knock the baby, but she didn't know that it was my son."

"When she told me Carol look, I turn around and I told he it's my baby! My baby! Then I start to run towards my baby. We were screaming, I saw the baby bleeding from the legs, forehead and at the back of his head. The school bell has ringed like 12 noon and at 1pm they return back to school, he was playing here when the incident happen."
