Today the court denied bail to all seven persons charged with burglarizing a store to the tune of 73 Thousand dollars in goods.

The 6 men and a 16 year old boy are alleged to have burglarized Gadget Store, located at the corner of Central American Boulevard and Vernon Street sometime between last Saturday, November 26th and Monday November 28th.

They are reported to have stolen 15 laptop computers, 24 cell phones, assorted jewelry, television games, digital cameras, I-Pods and I-Phones, and One Thousand dollars.

Police report that four of the culprits were captured on the store's surveillance camera.

The six men charged with burglary are 28 year old Darrell Grey, 19 year old Francis Arana, 19 year old Jeremy Bernard, 19 year old Samuel Halliday, 19 year old Darrell Pineda and his brother 20 year old Derrick Pineda.

The prosecution objected bail on the grounds that the offence is of a serious nature and that the defendants were caught red handed, and that the penalty for burglary has increased from 5 to 7 years, to 10 to 20 years, and that if granted bail, the defendants were likely to interfere with the witnesses.

Magistrate Dorothy Flowers upheld the objection and remanded the 7 into custody until December 30th.
