Growing \"Grass\" In Gardenia

Yesterday morning, between 5:30 and 7:00, the GSU searched a farm in Biscayne Village, where they found 65 marijuana plants measuring between 6" and 16 inches tall.

28 year old Rudy FABER and his common-law-wife 25 year old Judith MOODY were arrested and charged for Cultivation of cannabis. Faber and Moody were charged with cultivation of 65 cannabis plants when they appeared yesterday in the Magistrate Court. They pleaded not guilty to the charge and they were released on bails of 5 thousand dollars each and their case was adjourned until January 31, 2012.

The charge of cultivation of cannabis carried the same penalty as drug trafficking which can be fine of ten thousand dollars and a sentence of 3 years.
